Kylie

Kylie is an adorable senior this year at Monmouth/Roseville. We did the first half of her session at her country home yesterday.It had been scheduled the previous Wednesday and the weather did not cooperate, so when storm cloud started forming yesterday we got busy with the pictures before it could be a repeat of the previous week, and lo and behold we finished up just as the sky got black and we saw lightning strikes in the distance! In the time we had, we got some awesome shots. Her home had lots of cool places for us to use, which i LOVED! Kylie's eyes are amazing, as you can see. It was also neat to find out I had went to High School ??? years ago with her mom. Here are a couple of her previews...

Taylor

Taylor is a beautiful, beautiful young woman. She is soft spoken and super sweet! I have photographed members of her family, and also did her brothers senior pictures. Her mom also used to teach my daughter several years ago. How cool! Anyway, we all (her mom Renee, and Taylor's boyfriend Kevin, and also Bella their dog, had a blast! We had some rain towards the end of our sitting but we used it to our advantage, dragging out an umbrella. Here are a couple of her previews...

Models needed for August "experiments" lol

Nothing involving chemistry sets, just a couple of new ideas floating around in my head i want to try out to so i can offer them to my clients in the coming months. For one of them, I need a couple of kids prob over 3 or so, old enough to be able to stay still for a short bit, also a newborn for another one, no older than a couple of weeks when we shoot in august and then also a couple of teenage girls, not necessarily seniors. Anyone interested, shoot me an email and after my two weeks vacation i will email you back the details. Chandler and Carly

Chandler and Carly have been on my blog before and if you look back you can see how they have grown. For this sitting their mom suggested an outdoor location, so we went to Indian Creek Winery and got some great pics! Here are a few of my favorites!

Happy Birthday to me!!!

today is my 50th birthday! i am at a time in my life where i love what i do, cherish my time with my family and friends and about the only thing more i could ask for would be grandchildren!! (hint hint to my kids) I have been taking pictures since about 1992, when i was much younger, but it seems the older i get the more i love to "see" other people in the way my career allows, through my camera.
Thanks to all and Happy Bday to me. will post a pic of my cake for today, and some of the surprise party my family had for me. they really surprised me too, coz they did it 2 weeks early!!!
