Sarah and Brian

Sarah is so gorgeous and has this contagious smile, it makes you smile right along! They are an awesome couple, fun loving and well, just, loving. They have a tight knit circle of friends, who all were either in the Wedding or at the Wedding to share in their special day. Their reception hall decorations were breathtaking! All in all, amazing!!


On they way home from their Moline reception, three miles from home my daughter(who helps me at the studio and with Weddings) and I hit a deer. Just like the onstar commercial when I slammed on the brakes, our cell phones went flying through the jeep and as the smoke is rolling from under the hood, and we are in the middle of the road, and the poor deer on the road as well in not too great of shape, my daughter was scrambling for the cell phones. Me, I was climbing in the back getting out my cameras and bags to be sure they were all safe! (my car is in the shop until middle of july!)

Dayna and Craig

their Wedding day started off with a storm, but ended with sun at a beautiful winery in Colona. I got a big kick out of the groom and the groomsmen watching the World Cup while they were waiting for the ceremony to start, rabbit ear antennas and all!! I met this couple more than a year ago when I photographed their engagement session. They are so in love, it shows in their actions, it shows in their portraits! Gonna get caught up!

i promise i will be caught up on my blog in the next few days. i have been so so busy shooting I havent had time for this end of it! But I am not leaving the computer until I get up to date! As well as being busy, we have had so many storms i wont use risk being on the computer when it storms and lsing my hard drive or external hard drives, and i also hit a deer coming home from a wedding and have been dealing with insurance and all that entails. enough of the excuses, i am getting busy! Oh, and my family threw a surprise party for me for my #@'th birthday! i have the best family ever!

Anne's baby sister

Anne has been to the studio several times herself, and with her aunts and uncles for a family portrait, but now she has a beautiful baby sister names Elise, and this time the family came for pictures of the new baby and of the two girls together. When Anne was a newborn, we did the naked baby shots and dad had to clean himself up after them, and the second time was no charm, SAME THING happened with Anne. (i think the two little ones must have planned that!) But Dad was a trooper and didnt complain a bit. Here are a couple of previews of their sitting.

Megan and Ryan

Megan was one of my first sittings when i first opened my studio in the Galva location, so it is so cool to photograph this brother and sister! We have done lots of fun things over the years, so this time their mom thought about trying an outdoor location for this years' pictures. It was a great day weather wise, and we got some great shots!
