Lacy and Travis

these pictures were taken in a few minutes time, when we were on our way to a Brooks and Dunn, Jason Aldean concert in Bloomington. This is my daughter and her boyfriend, Travis. Travis is thoughtful and caring,our family likes him a lot. d studios "regulars" will recognize Lacy, since she helps me at the studio and with weddings. She is the best daughter ever,and Travis, is a lucky guy(because he gets to be around my daughter, and me as well!)ha ha

Melissa and JT pregnancy session

i had the honor of photographing this couple's wedding early last year, and now how awesome to be able to do their pregnancy session! I love how they were willing to try anything so they could get some awesome images. we got some more traditional ones but better yet, we got some very unique one. the upcoming arrival has an awesome brother and sister who were also in the portraits as well. I have been taking pictures a long time, about 20 years and i still get excited about all my sittings, but i sure enjoy when i can really push the envelope to get some new cool images. Nolan and his newborn baby brother were in for their portraits last week. You talk about two cute little guys, they are just adorable! We had a great session, they are big Cardinal fans so I got Nolan to laugh by teasing him about the Cubs. Here are a couple of their previews!

Nikki and Brian are getting married in Vegas(can i go, pretty please?)anyway they were in for their engagement session last week. Britta and her mom, were in for her senior session on a stormy night a couple of weeks ago. We didnt get in outside ones in, cox the wind was blowing very hard and it was raining. She was a joy to work with, here are a couple of her previews.

Mr. and Mrs. Interial

Last Saturday Katie and Nathan exchanged Wedding vows. It was a beautiful wedding, and an awesome reception. They are so fun to be around, they had fun on their wedding day. I love to see that. The warmth and love from their families is so evident, the toasts from the grooms father, the brides mother and the brides father brought tears to my eyes! Thanks again for letting me be a part of your day. Darlene and her wonderful family came in for a large family portrait a few weeks ago. You can tell how much her family loves and respects her. I enjoyed photographing them, even though i made them SQUEEZE together to get everyone in, they didnt mind anyway!

i am WAYYYYY behind

i am way behind on my blog posting and doing my best to get caught up, however, i am out of the studio for a few days this week, going away for a couple days and using the rest of the time to get caught up on my computer work. I am excited about graduations and mothers day, and lots of birthdays in my family this month.

We had some really great pictures the last time this brother and sister team were in, so i was a little worried the pictures would be hard to equal or top, but the kids did awesome and helped me meet my goal of meeting or beating our last session's pics!
