Kara and Michael

Kara and Michael came in for some family portraits and some indivdual pictures of each of their ADORABLE kids. They are such an attractive family, and so great to work with. I had trouble choosing some blog images because I loved them all. Here are a couple of their previews.

Nolan

Nolan is a senior at Galva, a very busy young an. He played on the football team, and is super busy with the band he is in. Motorbiscuit is a very area band, who's area expands every day. His sister Devon sings and plays keyboards in the band as well, so we did a few pictures of them together, working together as they do in the band. I had them sit in this step of an building and to make the "pose" seem real to the camera, I asked them to sing and play so I could "shoot". I got goosebumps as they performed their impromtu music session. Here are a couple of previews!

Giving Thanks

I have been watching everyone's posts on facebook everyday about what they are thankful for, sometimes tearing up as i read them. From what i have been seeing, we all have so much in common about the things we cherish in our lives. I am thankful everyday, especially today for so many things, my family, my friends, my relationships with my photography studio "family" who allow me to do what I love to do everyday. thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.

Shelby and her mom came in for Shelby's senior pics on a day it was very hectic here. It was a school early out in some schools and others had the whole day off so I had several seniors scheduled in the same day as time is getting short before most school's yearbook deadline. Shelby is adorable and super sweet, here are a couple of her previews. ps and thanks for locking the door! (inside joke) ha ha

Ava and Griffin

Ave and Griffin were in for their portraits the other day. Ava is on the walls at dstudios more than once, if you have been in the studio you have seen her. Her little brother Griffin is just as photogenic. The one with them "fighting" was just a split second of tiffing and the rest went super smooth, but the one split second, i happened to snap and when I saw this picture I laughed for a long time! It was really funny for sure, but mostly because they are so good when they are in the studio, but thought you might like to see the "before' and "after". You two are so ADORABLE!!

Jordan

Jordan and her Mom Michele drove all the way from Lincoln to have her senior portraits done at d studios! Jordan's baby cousin Addison from Galva comes to the studio for her portraits and jordan's family has loved her pictures, so they made the long drive up. I SO appreciate that, more than i can say. We had a great time brainstorming over ideas, just a great time over all. Here are a couple of previews from her sitting.

Chelsea

Chelsea has these beautiful eyes as you can see. She also brought some cool stuff for her pics, her Twilight series books and some cherished items in memory of her Grandfather. Those kinds of things make senior pictures full of good memories. Here are a couple of her previews.

Emery and Olivia

We had some sun the day these girls came in for some outdoor portraits, it was a gorgeous day out. I wish we could have had some more days like this before all the leaves were gone, like they are now. Here are a couple of previews of the sitting!

Katie and Nathan

Nathan was fighting a cold when he was in with his fiance Katie for their engagement pictures. What a guy! Came out on a very early Saturday morning with Katie(and his Theraflu) and smiled every time! Now thats true love! Seriously, they are a great couple, I enjoyed my time with them!
