Motorbiscuit was in for an extensive photo session on Sunday, we did a ton of cool things, even got caught in a downpour. But it was all worth it, they are a fun group for sure!! Here is one of the shots and what i did with it!!
Melissa and JT got married last weekend at Lake Calhoun on a gorgeous Saturday.She looked so beautiful, or as her groom described her as "stunning". They had the chairs set up facing the water with lots of flowers and topiaries around the deck Her family owns Galva Florist and her flowers were something else to see, if you are in need of flowers for a wedding or any oocasion, be sure to let Judy and the girls make you something beautiful. Both families were having tons of fun celebrating the joining of the 2 families. Congrats!!
Oh boy, did we have fun with Sam's senior pictures. We went to another location for some AWESOME pictures, she was a joy to work with. I have so many favorites of hers I had trouble picking a couple for the blog, my absolute favorite is her in her prom dress but since prom isnt for another couple of weeks, I wont reveal the dress!! As soon as prom is over, I will add my favorite!
Andrew, a senior from Galesburg was in on a day when it was starting to get warm so we walked around town and took some pictures, it was so nice to be able to get outside!
Kyle is a wrestler from Canton who has won many many awards, local, state and national. He brought his many awards and we used them in several pictures. He also brought his dog, Bear, a boxer. Here are a couple of Kyle's pictures.
Rochelle and Nick were married in Hawaii and had a luau themed weddding reception at home in Galva at Lake Calhoun's clubhouse. They went all out to make everyone feel like they were in Hawaii too! Tiki torches, leis and tropical plants added to the fun. Here are a couple of pictures from their reception.
Tavion;s mom has been bringing him in for his portraits since he was just a litle guy, he'is growing up fast! He brought his new "puppy" in for his pictures.
Senior season is winding down for the 2009 seniors. I have had a great year with a lot of referrals from past seniors who loved their pictures. I had done Mackinsey's sister Cournty's senior pictures a couple of years ago and I was so pleased MacKinsey came back as well. We also did family pictures that day, which we had a lot of fun with. Here are a couple of her previews.
Bryce was such a good sport when he came in for his senior pictures, even though senior pictures werent in his plan, he came in to make his family happy and he did an awesome job and we got some great pictures to prove it!
Addison looked so cute in her dress when she was in for her birthday pictures, isnt this one adorable? Her and her brother Aidan also posed for this adorable picture! We also did some bunny pics as well, and they both had fun with that.
Geri is a member of the Galva Dance Team that has State Titles to their credit, and have watched her dance in the "Waltzing with the Wildcats" each fall. The girls on the Dance team are so talented and love it, and it shows in their faces as they dance. Geri brought in her performance costumes and props as well as their trophies. The photo session we did focused on her dance performances over the years. I had photographed her before when we did some team photos, and I am so glad she chose d studios to do this session for her. Nolan is a golfer, plays baseball and is an avid hunter, which he proved to me by bringing in 2 HUGE mounted deer heads, his gun and bow. Here are a couple of his images.
Dalton was in for the bulk of his senior portraits last fall, but we waited until after basketball season to finish them up. He brought in red and green boxes that spelled out basketball, and we had so much fun thinking of ways to use them!
