Rachael, my senior model from Geneseo has such a great smile, I hated to try to get the "non-smiling" poses from her. She brought some great outfits and a gorgeous purple dress we had fun photographing. Here are a couple of previews....
Marissa had a day off school on Friday so we took the opportunity to do her senior portrait sitting. She came with her mom Cindy and brother Brad and her dog. We went outside of Galva to an old bridge and made our way through cobwebs and weeds to take some pictures. We survived to make it back to the studio to finish her sitting and get some great shots! Here is one in her prom dress.
Friends are a big part of high school, and especially your senior year, so Tracey brought her friends for her outdoor portion of her senior sitting. We went on a short "road trip" and took some neat pictures. Here is one of them!
Tracey, a senior from Knoxville loves playing her guitar and defintely wanted it to be a big part of her senior session, we got some great shots of her with it. We had planned some outdoor shots as well, but with the heavy rains we rescheduled her outdoor portion, thats ok we can have twice as much fun now! Here are a couple of my favorites so far!
I first met Grace for her 6 month portraits, she was super good then and this time was even better! We even did 3 "costume" changes, well, Halloween costumes! Here she is as a lady bug! She is a cutie!
Cabe brought in his brother Colton's dog Duke for his lemonade stand sitting. He was a perfect little gentleman and smiled and sat while Mom did her best to keep Duke in the pictures, it was all worth while because the pictures are adorable! Grandpa Courson contributed the John Deere tractors and they add so much to the pictures.
Well, the rain held off on this day long enough for us to get some of Chris's senior sitting done at his home, in his own familiar surroundings and awesome scenery at their country home. He never complained a bit when we did some "out of the ordinary" shots. I hope I captured his love of music in the pictures with his guitars and drumsticks. Here is one of my favorites from the day!
Saturday was such a beautiful day, cool and sunny. Joe and Alicia were saying their wedding vows at 3 so we met beforehand and did some wedding photos in the park. The kids were having a blast, we saw some geese wandering around and even got some in the background of a couple of pictures. Joe brought his motorcycle and we used in a quite a few pictures as well. Congrats to you both and the kids and I hope the honeymoon never ends!
This couple got married out of town and had their reception here in Galva, so we took the oportunity to get some pictures of the bride and groom as well as their entire family since all were in from out of state. Both sets of the family were here, they all seemed so close and fun loving! how awesome is that?
Jacob, a senior from Galesburg brought his dog Jeter to be in some of his pictures, Jeter had a slight mishap but was just fine and the rest of the day went great! I love this picture of the interaction between the two.
